Helpful information

We want the best for your teeth. That's why we have put some information together here to help you the next time you visit our practice. It can also help you understand more about prevention and other dentistry topics.

Preventative care: At least every 6 months

If you take care of your teeth and they are in good condition, you should come to see us for a checkup at least twice a year.

Start 'em early

Proper oral hygiene habits are learned early. So we recommend you bring your small children into the office with you to get them used to the environment (mask, gown and gloves can be scary)

Dr. Meader recommends a first visit as soon as your child gets his or her first tooth, at this time he likes to look at the child just so they get used to him. No cleaning or x-rays at this time.  Establishing regular visits at a young age has proven to improve the health of adult teeth, and makes less fear in a person.
